that is sweeping the country! Sixteen, a game of strategy
and luck, has been growing in popularity everywhere, but
no where like here in Kearney, NE where CR Toys was just
announced the #1 seller in the country!

to active duty. I have since remained on active duty
and have served our military members and their families
at 5 different Air Force Bases (as a chaplain). My
current duty station is in Europe. Before I went to
seminary and became a pastor/chaplain, I was an Air
Force Communications Officer for 5 years--stationed at
Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE, from
1991-1995.
Air Force Chaplain Kris Cox invented
Sixteen while he was stationed in Thule Air Base,
Greenland. According to him "4 months of total darkness
= cabin fever = make your own fun". The result was
somethign that Kris never imagined. His game has since
gone on to win several major awards and appear in many
distinguished magazines.

a ruckus. But the man who helped develop
the popular card game is shocked at the
commotion it has created at one Kearney
store.
Hilltop Mall’s CR Toys has sold about
540 Ruckus games since they hit the
shelves in July. That is the highest
sales volume of any store in the United
States carrying it.
“We are selling this game in 453 stores
across the country,” said Hubbub Inc.
founder Dan Levy, whose Chicago company

developed Ruckus. “As you can guess, I
never imagined that a small store in
Nebraska would be our top retailer. It’s
pretty amazing.”
